Includes all labor, materials and supplies needed for doing the work based on entered countertop dimensions and granite color and species. Results are approximations based on installations for common granites in the United States. Note that pricing displayed here is not strict, as is always the case, since actual amounts won't always fall within these amounts given, and exceptions will occur for specific price quotes. Total cost sums exclude any taxes charged for both materials & labor amounts.

Options for Installing Common Granite:

1 While these are some main popular types of granite counters being installed today, other stone granites in similar standing include Black Cambrian, Verde Butterfly (another green) and Kashmir Gold as well as Park Beige, Juparana Bordeaux (a burgendy shade) in addition to River White.
2 The standard depth of counters is 26 inches deep (adjustable). The total length is also in inches.
3 Assumes that the backsplash runs the entire counter length when present. For variously tall wall cabinets, take the average height.
4 Standard nosing styles typically come included with granite base pricing.

Inclusions and Exclusions

Included is the pulling of the existing countertop surface and disposing of it. Excluded is the cutout for the sink area which typically costs about $150 depending on the sizes & edge contour, as is the cutout for any stove top near the same price (undermounts extra). Seperate hole cutouts for sink fixtures are normally extra as these may be sink mounted.

Labor, Materials and Supplies notes:

  • The labor component charged to the project only.
  • Includes all labor needed for completion of project from measuring counters, on to final install including labor required for lifting & setting of stone in place. Also includes caulking/filling of any open seams to match chosen granite.
  • Includes all materials and supplies needed for prepping and clearing the subsurface. The materials totals allocate amounts due to waste factor within each type of granites/color selected.
  • Includes fabrication efforts needed to attain the desired edging.
  • Final cleanup and disposal of waste is allocated within these amounts.

  • Amounts for the labor portion per specific geographic locales may fluctuate based on the particular zip code by 10% and greater.
