About flooring projects:
The selections are almost limitless when it comes to having flooring installed. Choices include laminates, natural and engineered wood surfaces. (tile considered elsewhere)
Many of the laminates out mimic true surfaces, and their granularity, and provide increased wearability over prior materials. While the engineered wood can give benefits of its own. However, type has its own characteristics (natural versus an engineered flooring, for example) with which you may want to consult with your contractor.
Generally, though, as the materials continue to improve, many floosr are designed with less maintenance in mind. They do require some maintenance like preferred cleaning methods to help keep them looking new.
